5 Days with a Modern Master

A 4 hour flight from Brisbane Australia takes my wife, my children, my sister-in-law (the re-cruited child minder), my wifes nephew and I to a beautiful place filled with a wonderful culture.. Fiji it is!  Great guess :)   Landing in Nadi and then a small 15 seat propeller plane to take us to Savusavu Island the home of Namale Resort and the  Island home of Anthony Robbins.  The venue is Business Mastery II and we are more than excited to get started.

Chlorophyll and the Skin Doc

So, you think I was some sort of cheetah or something but, today, my loving wife setup an appointment to have my "spots" checked.  This is Australia and that's what you do when in Aussie... LOL, so I go in with this very pleasant doc and he goes over everything. All said and done he says, "You dont have any spots... why you here? You look super healthy and the few spots you have are no issue at all." I say, my wife loves me and I smile. He says, "What do you do to stay so fit?" Me, "Fire Shaper, hot yoga!" He obviously doesn't believe me based on his look.

Failed Before? What's the Story on New Year Resolutions?

Why do most New Year Resolutions Fail? In my opinion it is because most peoples resolutions focus on "LOSING" something from their lives. Even if it is unhealthy fat and weight. Try this little exercise: Re-Design your New Year Resolutions to "GAIN" something like Incredible Energy, or Gain a stronger more flexible frame, or Gain a lean healthy figure.

Hydration

I had the pleasure to teach a FLARE class just today (Jan 22, 2013) and really enjoyed the hearts and souls of each and every one of the students in the room.  You can say that their spirit had certainly inspired the entire practice of the class, not to mention they worked their tails off!  :)  What I have to say may drastically alter your day...

The Anatomy of Knee "Locking", Bikram Style...

To begin this conversation we need to consider that each individuals definition of what "lock" actually means can vary because I can assure you that there will be a number of different interpretations. Common interpretations of “locking” the knee include but, are not limited to the following (as I have heard many people discussing this individually and in groups:

1.      Concentrate completely on the front muscle above the knee so that it is fully contracted.
