Ellen began her hot yoga journey in 2012 as a way to help balance her training regime. An avid cyclist and triathlete, she found the hot room inviting as well as challenging. Life started quickly changing and evolving, she got married in 2014 and had her daughter in 2015. After a few attempts to return to the gym, something wasn’t quite right.. the gym had become more of a chore than an outlet. Recalling on her hot yoga experiences of years past, Ellen researched hot yoga studios in the area. It took over a year before she bought the Groupon and returned to her mat; and it was love at first pranayama. Returning to her practice in August of 2018 she quickly realized that yoga was something she was passionate about. She signed up for the 4 day RQU immersion and quickly realized she needed to continue on and become a yoga teacher. Her desire to share all of the beautiful aspect of yoga with others.
