She immediately fell in love with the practice for its challenging physical aspects that also nourished her body instead of creating injuries. Quickly, Anna noticed the mental benefits and shifts she had experienced due to her practice. She appreciated the focus and mental game that hot yoga is and found it similar to long distance running in ways. Anna decided to become a yoga teacher so she could lead herself through whatever type of practice she needed, whenever and wherever she was. However, she soon found how empowering leading a class and sharing her love for yoga with others was. Anna enjoys making her class a balance of physical and mental challenges to build resilience on and off the mat, as well as using the practice as a reminder of each individual's strength and capability that we all forget far too often.
